Spare time activities: Triathlons, tennis, golf, Bible study fellowship, book club, bridge, watching football (especially the Green Bay Packers) and entertaining family and friends.
Favorite local place for exercise/wellness activity: “Lake Forest is an amazing place to live, as I can train for triathlons in my neighborhood. I run and bike the circle that goes around Lake Forest and love using its clubhouse pool for laps. When training for the Danskin Triathlon, Brooke Holt, our coach with Cross Train, brings the group to Lake Forest and we do a mock triathlon. I also go to Body by Roni for strength training and play tennis and golf in the area. I get massages at Envision Therapy. Dreamy!”
Favorite local place for R&R: “Right in my own back yard!”
Wellness regimen: “I enjoy clean, organic foods that take little time to prepare and eat, and lots of fruits and veggies. I am a health coach for Take Shape For Life, which is a division of Medifast, so my daily diet includes Take Shape For Life pre-packaged meals. Eating healthy foods and getting daily exercise gives me good energy and peace of mind.”
Wellness philosophy: “Studying the Bible keeps me grounded in my Christian faith. I also exercise with friends in the fresh air for fun. You can’t beat that combination for a glad and cheerful heart.”
Favorite things about living in Seminole County: “The great restaurants, Sylvan Park tennis, boating area lakes, the lovely weather and super people.”
Wellness words of wisdom: “Have fun with friends in the fresh air. Love what you eat, just not too much. Be good to yourself. Move!”
